A two-room refuge in the Sierra Nevada. There's no agenda here: the water runs, the fire burns, the sauna's steam loosens you, the hammock waits. Getting here isn't the hard part. Accepting that nothing is missing — that is.
The lodge
What's already here
Nothing to add. Just there to use.
Private river
Not a photo of the river. The river itself, right down the steps from the room.
Steam
Dry heat. The body gives in before it asks to.
Included if you book directly with us. $60.000 COP if you arrive via Airbnb or Booking.
Bonfire
Lit every night, no fixed time: if dinner runs long, the fire waits. No one puts it out early.
Wood-fired oven
Bread or pizza, if you give us time. The oven takes almost three hours to heat, and that's part of the rhythm here too.
Nature
Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta all around, in every direction.
Internet
Wifi in common areas. It doesn't reach the rooms.
Nearby
Around the lodge
Things that exist nearby, and who to call if you want them.
Gallery
The place, as it is.
The spaces
Five spaces, one rhythm
Two rooms, a refuge, the fire, the kitchen.
Río Room
1 double bed · 1 single bed
The river as the backdrop for the whole night. The screen door lets it in; the glass one switches it off. You choose what sound you sleep with.
Fuego Room
1 double bed · 1 single bed
The same terrace facing the water, the same river below. The name already says what changes.
El Refugio
One level down, closer to the river. Hammocks, quiet, and nothing else to ask for.
El Fuego
The path down to the river. Where the nights end.
Shared kitchen
Separate from the grill and the wood-fired oven. Everything in its place.
Where it is

Who it's for
Who this is for
And who it isn't.
Couples & Solitude
Two rooms, one river. There's no third option.
Slow Nomads
No wifi in the room. Here you don't work, you stop.
Slow travelers
Already knows Minca from the reviews. Looking for what almost no one promises and delivers: real quiet, and birds before sunrise.
